Jamberoo is a small farming village in the valley behind Kiama. The places to stay there are a short list: the Jamberoo Pub's Saleyard Motel, The Lodge Jamberoo, and a handful of farm cottages and retreats listed by Visit NSW. From Kiama Ridge Waters you reach the village in 14 minutes (11 km) and the action park in 19 minutes (15.7 km). You also stay a 15-minute walk from Easts Beach and about 27 minutes on foot from Kiama town centre and station, so the beach and the valley both fit into one trip.

Minnamurra Rainforest has a boardwalk and suspension bridge 25 minutes from the apartments, and Saddleback Mountain Lookout is 9 minutes away. Back in Kiama there are the Blowhole, ocean pools and calm Kendalls Beach for the days the action park is closed.
