Work from the apartment while you stay
3-Bed Apartment with Study Nook has the same three-bedroom layout as every apartment at Kiama Ridge Waters, so one person can take calls in a quiet room while the others sleep in or head out.
Every apartment has Wi-Fi. If your work depends on a fast connection, ask MadeComfy about the internet service before you book, as no speed is published.
A few details help on a working stay:

When you need a printer or a room for a video call, head to Kiama Library on Railway Parade, in the town centre. The town centre is about a 27-minute walk (2.3 km) from the apartment, or a short drive.
Kiama Council lists free Wi-Fi, public computers, a printer and photocopier, a scanner, and study and work spaces at the library. Its hours are 9:30am to 5pm on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9:30am to 7pm on Tuesday and 9:30am to 1pm on Saturday. It's closed on Sunday.
The library study room seats up to eight people and has power points, Wi-Fi and a whiteboard. It's hired by the hour, with separate rates for private and business use. Call the library on (02) 4233 1133 to check the current rate and book.

Get to meetings by train, bus or car
Kiama station is on the South Coast Line, and Intercity trains run from Sydney to Kiama about every hour, which makes a day of meetings in Wollongong or Sydney possible without driving. From the apartment, the station is a 2.2 km walk, about 27 minutes.
The nearest bus stop is about 1 km away on Hillview Circuit. Kiama Coachlines runs local weekday services around Kiama, Jamberoo, Gerringong and Gerroa, and Premier Illawarra runs from Kiama through to Shellharbour and Wollongong. Check times on the Transport NSW trip planner.
By car, Shellharbour Airport is about 20 minutes away, Wollongong about 35 minutes and the Sydney CBD about 1 hour 45 minutes (134 km).

Yes. Every apartment has secure garage parking for two cars.
How far is the beach?
Easts Beach is about a 15-minute walk (1.3 kilometres) and Kendalls Beach about 16 minutes (1.4 kilometres). Kiama Ridge Waters is not on the beach itself.
Can I bring my dog?
Small to medium pets are welcome on request in every apartment except 3-Bed Apartment with Study Nook. A $200 cleaning fee applies to stays with pets. Read about pet-friendly stays.
Can we hold a party or event in the apartment?
No. Kiama Ridge Waters is accommodation only, and parties and events aren't allowed in the apartments or common areas. Groups staying for a wedding or celebration are welcome, as long as the celebration happens elsewhere.
